About Comunidad Primero:
Comunidad Primero distributes a variety of free and fresh products in the Bushwick and Ridgewood neighborhoods to alleviate the need in our community, prioritizing older adults, people with disabilities, undocumented migrants, and low-income families.

This back-to-school event will support these families in preparing for the new school year with school supplies, food, and free haircuts.

About (Salon)CARE:
Rooted in nurturing the roles hairdressers have in the communities they live/work in through the personal care they intrinsically provide to anyone that sits in their chair. CARE initiatives include fundraising, volunteering, and educating salon workers to continue to serve their communities as they historically always have.
