Lena Ott is a New York–based colorist and founder of Suite Caroline, known for her nuanced, emotionally intelligent approach to color and her ability to create tones that feel both elevated and opulent on camera. She first became recognized for her intuitive work with top models, developing color that moved beautifully under light and worked seamlessly across runway and editorial before her practice expanded naturally into celebrity.

Her work spans editorial and runway at the highest levels of fashion, from Sabrina Carpenter’s Vogue cover to runway shows for Saint Laurent, Rick Owens, and Dolce & Gabbana. She has also been tapped repeatedly to reinterpret David Bowie’s iconic color for a range of creative visions, including collaborations with David Sims, Saint Laurent on Anja Rubik, Haider Ackermann runway, Guido for W Magazine, and Lanvin. Lena has colored full shows across New York, Milan, and Paris Fashion Weeks and collaborates frequently with Guido Palau, contributing color to some of the most widely referenced images in contemporary fashion. An early wig she colored for an editorial also caught the attention of Björk and helped inspire the chromatic direction of the artist’s Biophilia era.

Lena opened Suite Caroline in Soho’s cast-iron district, building a salon known for its exacting standards, collaborative energy, and deeply personalized artistry. Her work continues to bridge editorial, runway, celebrity, and education, guided by a belief that color should be luxurious, dimensional, and true to the individual.
